people pronounce it bannerham sometimes. or spell it bannam. it’s banham.

people always spell it hellen. and my nanny always pronounces it helin. it’s helen

People always spell my surname martin, or sometimes marton, or martyn. It’s marten.

People call me Julie when it is most obviously Julia. And no one can say my last name right except for teachers. Cayer. Does that look so hard to say? Kay-er. It’s a hard ‘c’ not a soft ‘c’ mmkay?

the beginning of my last name is pronounced backwards. no one has ever gotten it right on their first try. seriously, the day someone says (spelling is a whole different ball game) cichetti right, i’ll be able to die happy.
